Unexpected sleepover

Today I got up at 6 15 and we went to school. I had normal classes and then in mod h I went with my friends and classmates to the theatre to talk with some students of marist. Then we saw a movie from the 80s and we ate pizza. After this I went with Anna to her house in her car without Nick. He had a soccer game. We went to Annas house and we played the wii and talked a lot. In a chair that swinged, Cassie, Sarah and I were sitting there. Suddenly the chair flips and we all fell to the floor. We laughed a lot of that. Then Casie pushed me from the chair and I pushed her. At 10 Nicks dad, Steve, was going to pick me up. Annas mother had told Anna to send a message to Nick telling him not to come at night and that i sleptover there. Because Nick had an ear infection his father took him to the hospital and called me to say he was 40 minutes away from here. He told me if i wanted to stay in Annas and I said yes. We then danced in a wii game. So i am sleeping in Annas. So excited.

Museum, Planetarium and Aquarium

Today I got up at 8 and i went to Lauras house because she was taking cami and me to Marist High School. From there we took the bus and we went to the Museum of Science and Industry. There we could experiment with science and we could touch things. We entered a wind tunnel to feel a really strong wind. We also saw a movie in a curve screen. Then we went to the Planetarium where we had lunch and we saw a 3d movie. From there we went to the Aquarium. I enjoyed it a lot although we werent able to see a 4d movie. There were beluga whales, dolphins, pentuins, fish and jellyfish. With Amy and Cami in the kids play zone we put some penguin costumes and took pictures. We then went to the school  and jordan picked me and barbi and took us to her house to do the presentation. I ate mexican food that jordans mom, Lauren, made. It was really tasty and i loved it. Then we made the presentation and jordans dad took me to my home.

Hannah's sleepover

I woke up at 10 because I went to sleep at 4. We went all to Golden Bear where we had breakfast. I had waffles, bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. Then we went in Annas car to Marist High School. From there we took the bus to the city. There we went to shop. I bouht a t shirt and i helped Pacala to buy a camera and an iphone. Then we went on a boat ride where we saw the city from the river. It was really cold and I was freezing. I took really great pictures from there and then we went to Marist where laura came and we went to Panda Express. I love the food then we went to my house.

Party in jordans aunt house

I slept a lot. I got up at 10 because I was very tired. For breakfast I had an omelet and an english muffin. Then at 3 we went to a soccer pasta party and I had a lot of fun. I played soccer and ping pong. We ate pasta and there were cupcakes. Then we went to jordans aunt house were we sat near a fireplace until it started raining. Then we went into the house and saw a movie in there private movie theatre. After that we went to a haunted house but it was not scary. Then we went to Hannahs house to sleep and we played wii. I had a great time.

Dormi mucho. Me levante a las 10 porque estaba cansado. De desayuno tuve un omelet y un muffin ingles. A las 3 fui a un soccer pasta party y me diverti mucho. Jugue al futbol y al ping pong. Comi pasta y cupcakes. Despues de esto fuimos a la casa de la tia de Jordan donde nos sentamos cerca de ipuna fogata hasta que empezo a llover. Entonces entramos a la a casa vimos una pelicula en su cine. Mas tarde fuimos a una casa embrujada pero no daba miedo. Desde ahi fuimos a la casa de Hannaha dormiry jugamos a la wii. La pase muy bien.

Second visit to Chicago

I got up at 9 because we had to go earlier to the school because andrew, nicks brother had a football match. We waited there until the rest of us came, then we went to Chicago. First, we went to the skydeck. Many were really nervous because it is made of glass and if you look down theres just a glass and you can see all. When I first stepped I was like confused because i was on something but if i looked down there was nothing. We all got pictures and I even sat on the floor. We started jumping and I was thinking this is going to fall. After that we had free time to visit the city. We went to Paneras to eat and we visited the city. After that we went to see the soccer match but first we ate in the parking lot. It was really cold but sarah had brought blankets and i used one. The local team won and we went to our houses.

Soccer match

I went to school with nick because he was feeling good and his stomach didnt hurt. We had normal classes but after the end of the day of school we were going to have the soccer match argentinians vs americans. After school we went to the locker and we changed our clothes so as to play. I played as a goalie, i have never played in that position, so I was worried because I am not used to using my hands in soccer. When we got to the small gym we were 6 argentinians against 20 americans. We played the match and we tied 8 to 8. I was proud of myself because I intercepted the ball many times. The americans had the advantage against us not only because they played in there school but also they were able to make changes because they had many players so the students didnt get tired. After this I went to sarahs house were I shower and I went to the asado. The food was really good and I enjoyed it a lot. Then we went to annas house were we seated near a bonfire we ate marshmallows and played hide and seek. We took cami to her house and then we went to our house.

Nick se sentía mejor entonces fui a la escuela con el a la escuela. Tuvimos clases normales excepto que cuando terminaban las clases teníamos el partido contra los estadounidenses. Cuando termino la escuela fuimos al baño y nos cambiamos de ropa para jugar. Yo jugué de arquero. Nunca había jugado en esa posición por lo que estaba nervioso. Fuimos al gimnasio chico y vimos que había 20 estadounidenses y 6 argentinos nada mas. Jugamos y empatamos 8 a 8. Estaba orgulloso de mi mismo porque ataje varios goles. Los estadounidenses tenían la ventaja no solo por jugar en su gimnasio sino porque tenían muchos jugadores y podían hacer cambios. Luego fui a la casa de Sarah donde me bañe y fuimos al asado. La comida fue muy buena y lo disfrute mucho. Después fuimos a la casa de Anna y nos sentamos cerca de una fogata a comer malvaviscos y jugamos a las escondidas. Llevamos a Cami a su casa y luego me fui a casa.

School day with ellie

We were going to leave the house when nick said he was not feeling well. He decided to stay at home but i went to school. I was going to stay with cassie in the class but leandro told me that the headmaster had given me a host for the day. This host was ellie. I stayed with her all the day until we splited because we went to learn how to play american football. Then cassie took amy and me to her house and we walked brascoe her neighbours dog. Then kara came for us and we went to the shopping where i bought a t shirt for 5 dollars. We ate in the food court and i had a chicken teriyaki. After that we went to maggies house were we played ping pong and air hockey. Then i went home.

Estábamos por dejar la casa cuando Nick dijo que se sentía mal. El se quedo en su casa y yo fui a la escuela. Iba a estar con Cassie en la clase pero Leandro me dijo que el director me había dado un host por el día. Mi host se llamaba Ellie. Estuve con ella todo el día hasta que nos separamos porque yo iba a aprender fútbol americano. Después de esto Cassie no llevo a Amy y a mi a su casa y paseamos al perro de su vecino brascoe. Después vino Kara y nos busco para ir a comprar al shopping. Ahí me compre una remera a 5 dólares. Comimos en el patio de comidas y yo comí pollo teriyaki. Después fuimos a la casa de Maggie donde jugué al ping pong y al air hockey. Después me fui a casa.

Visiting Chicago

Without our hosts we went to the school to take the bus to Chicago. We visited two museums, one of art and one of natural history, and we walked in the Millenium park. We saw two fountains and we went to the bean. We took lots of pictures  and i had a lot of fun. Then i went to my house and i had for dinner a caesar salad.

Sin nuestros hosts fuimos a la escuela y tomamos el micro a Chicago. Visitamos dos museos, uno de arte y otro de historia natural, y caminamos en el Millenium Park. Vimos dos fuentes y luego fuimos al bean. Sacamos muchas fotos y me diverti mucho. Despues fui a mi casa y cene una ensalada caesar.

First day of school

I got up at 6 am and we went in the car of one of Nick's friend. When I arrived everyone was staring at me and I was really nervous. We went to have breakfast all together and then we went to our classes. The first class was Spanish and I was also with Consuelo and they did a test. The test was so easy. Then I had Religion and Health. In every class I was people talked to me and told me like to be with them. I laughed when someone asked if argentinian people speak argentinian. I went to the cafeteria where with Nick we met Fico and had lunch together. I had Chemistry, Maths and Social Studies. Then Nick went to a soccer practice and I went with Cassie and Amy to Cassie's house. We walked her neighbour's dog and we went to se a soccer match. We went to Mcdonald's to have dinner. After that I met Nick and I went with his soccer team friends to eat dinner again. I had a great time with them.

Me levanté a las 6 y fuimos en el auto de uno de los amigos de Nick. Cuando llegué todos me  miraban fijamente y yo estaba realmente nervioso. Fuimos a desayunar todos juntos y luego fuimos a nuestras clases. La primera clase era español y estaba en la clase con Consuelo y ellos hicieron una prueba. La prueba era tan fácil. Entonces yo tenía Religión y  Salud. En cada clase la gente me hablaba mucho y me decían que estuviera con ellos. Me reí cuando alguien preguntó si los argentinos hablan el argentino. Fui a la cafetería con Nick donde encontramos a Fico y tuvimos el almuerzo juntos. Yo tenía Química, Matemáticas y Estudios Sociales. Entonces Nick fue a una práctica de fútbol y fui con Cassie y Amy a la casa de Cassie. Paseamos el perro de su vecino y fuimos a un partido de fútbol. Fuimos a Mcdonald a cenar. Después de esto me encontre con Nick y fui con sus amigos de futbol a comer la cena otra vez. La pase muy bien con ellos.

Shopping day

Today we met at school and we went to a shopping mall. We stayed there and we had lunch at Subway. I shopped a lot. Then we went to the bus and we went to a soccer match. The match ended with the teams having the same score. Then we ate pizza as dinner.

Hoy nos encontramos en la escuela y fuimos a un shopping. Nos quedamos allí y almorzamos en Subway. Hice muchas compras. Entonces fuimos al autobús y fuimos a un partido de fútbol. El partido termino con los equipos empatando. Entonces comimos como cena, pizza.

First day in Chicago

Last night at 8 pm we took the plane from Buenos Aires to Chicago.
First, we made a stop in Miami before arriving there. The trip was really long and I was very tired.
When we arrived a school bus took us to the Marist High School. There the hosts and parents where waiting for us. I was nervous to meet my host because I had only spoken to him just a bit. At first I didnt know what to say to him. We took some photos and I got into the car where I talk to Nick. Everything went really good and awesome. We got to know each other and we talk for hours. Then we went to eat with Lucas and his host to Wild Buffalo Wings.

 After that we stayed in his house playing ping pong and soccer. Then some of us went to the ice ring to see a hockey match.

After that we went to Chipotle and ate dinner.

Anoche, a las 20:00 tomamos el avión de Buenos Aires a Chicago. En primer lugar, hicimos una parada en Miami antes de llegar allí. El viaje fue muy largo y yo estaba muy cansado. El autobús escolar nos llevo a Marist High School. Ahi nos esperaban los padres y los hosts. Estaba nervioso por encontrar a mi host porque yo sólo le había hablado un poco. Al principio no sabia que decirle. Tomamos algunas fotos y entré en el coche donde hable con Nick. Todo fue realmente bueno y divertido. Llegamos a conocernos muy bien y hablamos durante horas. Entonces fuimos a comer con Lucas y su host a Buffalo Wild Wings. Después de esto nos quedamos en su casa jugando ping pong y fútbol. Entonces algunos de nosotros fuimos a la pista de hielo a ver un partido de hockey. Después de esto fuimos a Chipotle y comimos la cena.
